One of the most important factor that people forgot to look at is location of the business. If we read most of the books on starting up a business , the author will suggest we do something that we are so passionate about . Those with cooking skills will open up a restaurant. Bookworms will start a bookshop. A lady who likes to bake will open up a bakery and so on. After opening up the business then only the owner of the restaurant realise that there are 3 similar restaurants nearby. The bookshop is too near the library. The bakery is is too near housing areas that housewives bake their own cakes.There are also no parking area in the business district ! While location is very important , it is no necessary so if the product is well known. A lot of restaurants build a strong brand of products. People come near and far searching for these particular small shops.Sometimes the product is more expensive than those that can be easily obtained. Why is this so ?
