- Conduct a Business Hazard Analysis for your business . Identify would be hazards for the next 5 to 10 years and how to overcome the problem. This must be prepared in advance so that a quick decision can be made when the time comes.
- Identify your manpower needs.
- Create communication plan in your company.Who is supposed to liase with the customers , government dept , suppliers etc and how are you going to do it.
- Ensure you have a robust Supply Chain System.
- Make sure you have insurance to cover losses as well as your own health.
- Have a Group Record Management System where all files are indexed according to important topics. Back up in a Cloud Service.
- Test run the system once a year.
