What is the most important lesson you learned in school that is used in business?
Math!
Knowledge of Mathematics leads to profit or loss in business. Especially Business Mathematics such as Compound Interest. Each of the activities we do from the time we wake up until the nightime is mathematics. Means that any activities that we do involve some sort of calculation or arrangement. If not in terms of volume or number of pounds but also in terms of time.
I studied three types of mathematics during my lifetime. Mathematics, Additional Mathematics and Business Mathematics. Throughout my 51 years of age is filled with all kinds of calculation.From calculation about salary, overtime, allowances for daily expenses, monthly, annual and long-term spending plan from 5 to 10 years. I also calculate the amount of money i need when i retire later.
Our cleverness in mathematics would catapult us to a better level. For example cleverness in the profit and loss account would show us. Given the name of the account but all mere mathematical calculation, where the profit and loss will change if we are wrong about it.
For those who are still in school and the High School, be sure to excel in math . It can determine your direction!
